Like this image, but it sorta lacks that va va voom for us, that punch. Maybe a slight play with the RGB curve (S curve) would help
Zebigleb: Thank you for this advice and feed back
What do they call this in India, the baby taxi? In Bangladesh most of them are called CNG, short for compressed natural gas, the fuel it needs to power it.
Zebigleb: Toktok is the indian name according to the noise of the motor ! Lot of toktok there and...lot of noise ! Thank you for stopping by
I have no idea what Suby means in his comment, Zeb, because before I read it, I was thinking just the opposite--how this country has such incredible complexity showing up in your images. I think you are exemplary in your compositions and presentations. I applaud the tribute you have made to this immensely complex country.
Zebigleb: Thank you for your faithful support Ginnie !
I am sorry that this series is coming to an end. Although I have not commented on every photograph, I have enjoyed it so much. The series is a real credit to you, and you should be very proud of it. (:o)
Zebigleb: I'm proud to have such great friends
Au vu des couleurs tu es bien en Inde! Très belle image insolite.
Zebigleb: C'était un pont terrifiant, avec des trous et vue sur le vide et un traffic époustouflant
great capture, like the line-up and the color as well
Zebigleb: Thank you Chantal
LOVE this picture, love the colors, love the real life in it, thank you Zeb for showing me this part of the world I don't know, you made me love it, THANKS my friend.
Zebigleb: It's a pleasure with so nice support
Are you leaving your best for last, Zebigleb. This might be very close to the best in this long series on India.
Like the obvious humour of the situation, and you are probably a welcome diversion that the drivers will remember and tell their kids about tonight.
Zebigleb: Thank you once again for this kind comment my friend
Great image. There is somethiong comical about these little vehicles - a bit like dodgem cars at the fair. Such a very Indian traffic jam.
Zebigleb: Yes indeed, and it's a pity not to be able to show the noise too
lol, loving the expression...
Zebigleb:
Spot on timing with this one Zeb
Zebigleb: Yes a lucky timing with this traffic jam
I would love to have a go at driving one of these things! Great shot Zeb. That guy is really posing for you!
Zebigleb: Yes a lucky shot ! I was in a Toktok too ! Very scary
Thanks for the friendly mention! This is very good street photography, Zeb. It offers a glimpse of a foreign culture and it tells a story.
Zebigleb: Thank you for your support Martin
Posh auto rickshaws .. the Kolkata species were more often drawn by bikes or barefooted aged men ... richard
Zebigleb: Yes, this is Agra Motors
Fabulous series Zeb. richard
Zebigleb: Thank you my friend
This photo is brilliant, Zebigleb!
Zebigleb: Thank you my friend ;-)
What a good looking man. Lovely perspective. I like this lots. well done.
Zebigleb: Thank you
I knew you were going to make something with this amazing vehicles as soon as I saw it in the previous post. And here it is...Were you riding in one of them?
I specially liked the way everyone is peeping...I guess they've spotted you
