In Asia, we get shampoos, conditioners, etc in one use sachets as shown here.
Zebigleb: Yes it's quite unusual in Europe
Such a beautiful image of a typical scene in many parts of India, Zebigleb.
These strange "mobile shopettes"...lacking both suspension and steering mechanisms. Love the detail here: *enormous brick behind the wheel to stop the machine from rolling away. * Flat tyres, partly buried in the sand of the verge of the road. *Brightly garbed vendor, seated in the shade among her wares...her numerous gold bangles sitting heavily on her thin arms...her shoes keeping each other intimate company under the cart. The extraordinarily disfunctional footpaths, with their discarded shards of brickwork and masonry. Behind the fence, someone sleeping on the grass in the shade of a large tree... Love it! One of the best of your long India series.
Zebigleb: Wow - I've to say you've noticed few details I didn't ever seen
A very interesting cart! They must be expecting to roll it over a lot of uneven ground to make the wheels so large.
Zebigleb: Certainly you're right, roads are ugly there
Souvenirs for the trip. I like that, Zeb. I for one have LOVED this series on India. I can't imagine what you'll do next.
Zebigleb: Well I don't know but I think I'm going to post a serie about Balinese Art
le bonheur du photographe dans ce pays merveilleux
Zebigleb: Oh oui ! Un vrai bonheur à chaque minute !!
An image like this can also be seen in Nigeria. Nice capture.
Zebigleb: Thank you ! I'd like to go in Nigeria
It has been a grand series on India Zeb, well presented and this one is a fine finish to it. Always leave with some souvenirs.
Zebigleb: Thank you Les;-)
So we have to get off the bus finally, but this will not mean you will not be posting anymore....I sure will miss you, so please come with some new posts...I love this one, it so natural.
Zebigleb: Thank you Astrid
I live little street stalls like this.
Zebigleb: And I'm glad you liked this one Mary
I love the way she is sitting- so graceful in this graceful shot. The faded colour of the wall, picked up by the boy's shirt, the dog asleep on the well manicured lawn behind the dirt track- lovely evocative hints at life and design.
Zebigleb: Thank you for this interresting feed back Jamoula !
I love streetcaptures like this, they show every day life
Zebigleb: Glad you liked it Chantal
Zeb, this series has been very special. Immensely enjoyable, and I have reached the stage where I simply view the photographs with wonder. I hope you will be doing something else with them .... like a book, because they are certainly good enough. (:o)
Zebigleb: Aaw, you're a sweetheart !
You do this sort of picture so well Zeb.
Zebigleb: Thank you Bill
Lovely colours in this - I love the green and the orangey pink together. Well composed.
Ingrid
Zebigleb: Thank you so much Ingrid
Your stroll in India is the best souvenir. Wonderful captures of a fasinating country.
Zebigleb: Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked the serie !
Things that happen on the sidewalk. I found ray's description quite interesting.
That colour of the wall - pink/orange/clay - I have seen in many of your pictures. Great picture and lovely series.
Zebigleb: Thank you Louis, you're a friend
