Brilliant capture, Zebigleb, and wonderful title.

Flies are excellent and interesting subjects for macro photography...they listen carefully to the photographer's instructions and then pose so nicely.
Zebigleb: Lol smile Those one were professionnal a little bit expansive but easier... smile smile smile

WOW ... nice macro!
Zebigleb: Wow ! Nice comment - Thank you Helen smile
You are an incredibly patient man, Zebigleb.
Zebigleb: Not me ! The flies were very patient because I ask them to stay like that few minutes smile smile smile

HA! I love it, Zeb. You da man!
Zebigleb: smile smile smile
It's very pretty - and I mean that as a big compliment. Sometimes these close-up shots are visually interesting without being really attractive and engaging. This is all of the above!
Zebigleb: Thank you for this nice feed back smile

That's so funny, Zeb. One bee is taking off and the other one is on a holding pattern, waits for the "all clear" to land. Great timing.
Zebigleb: sometimes, there is an accident but these one were very careful smile smile
Wow, you got the shot! I'm envious of your great work here.
Zebigleb: Thank you so much Karen smile That is a Compliment smile

Either luck or patience, or both. Good camera and skilled photographer added in - and you have the recipe for an excllent picture. Going to likeys.

What is that thing in front of the face of the flying bee? It looks like a miniature bee.
Zebigleb: I'm honored my friend !
Well, I think it is an antenna but no too sure smile
beautiful DOF
Zebigleb: Thank you Chantal smile
Brilliant this is my dream shot. Such clarity... excellent.
Zebigleb: Thank you that's my dream comment too smile

Wow! Even at 1/500 s the wings are a complete blur on the airborne bee. Now thats some vigorous flapping right there!
